Space Channel 5 (DC) Playthrough - NintendoComplete

A complete playthrough of Sega's 2000 Dreamcast rhythm game, Space Channel 5. The video was recorded from a launch model Sega Dreamcast using standard RCA cables. The game is played through twice, since alternate scenes show up at certain times that can only be accessed by playing on a clear data file. Man, I love this game. I bought it the day it came out, which if I remember correctly was a week or so before I graduated from high school. Hahaha, 2000 really doesn't seem so long ago. By either way, video compression artifacting aside, Space Channel 5 hardly looks or sounds its age. The CG still looks good with it's super stylized characters, the music is amazing, and the game is just vomiting Sega's classic charm - in my mind, the only game that can really compete with this for arcade-style games on the Dreamcast is Samba de Amigo. That's not hyperbole, even if we are talking about the DC with its endless stream of amazing arcade ports. Space Channel 5 really is just THAT genius. This playthrough is not of my personal game play, but using the game's auto play option (you can hear Ulala yell when it's activated). While I'm pretty good at the game, I certainly can't get consistent perfects on every section. I figured that it's better to watch without mistakes in it, but wanted to make sure that it was clear that this is the computer playing, not me. ________ NintendoComplete (http://www.nintendocomplete.com/) punches you in the face with in-depth reviews, screenshot archives, and music from classic 8-bit NES games! Even in the future, they still can't find a cure for the disease so they can turn Space Michael (Jackson)'s skin back to its original skin color.

You should use a VGA box or at least s-video for the Dreamcast. The picture will be much sharper.
