Where is the captain okita death song???????

Perhaps it's a little silly, but one of the parts that moved me most was when the Yamato overtook the light from Earth from before the Gamilon space bombs started to fall, and they could see her bright and blue, as she used to be.

NARRATION: It is year 2199. The Earth is at its final moment. Since early 21st Century, a mysterious starfleet steadily advanced its space invasion, and it has finally stretched its devilish hands to the solar system. It has continuously waged indiscriminate attacks on Earth by planetary bombs......
The radiation by planetary bombs have steadily encroached the surface as well as underground. There is not any healthy soil left on Earth.
...... Should mankind just wait for the time of extinction? Is there no hope for future left? -

Yamato's soundtrack is really what makes the series stand out for all time. Yoshinobu Nishizaki is missed.
But we still have Leiji Matsumoto! -
