Here's the intro to the 2010 live action movie Space Battleship Yamato.

Reminds me of BSG been looking for a good space scifi
....Damn...that actually looks REALLY good!
If you want it, you'll have to either get an Australian import or a bootleg. No distributor in the US chose to buy it. It's not even available as a digital download from a legal source.
DAMN.....! I wanna get this movie now.....! Add it to my collection of Japanese movies.
Growing up with this show as a kid, and seeing it done in live action, the intro to this gave me chills. Too bad the seriously fucked up the ending to the point where a sequel couldnt be made...
