Space: Above and Beyond 20th Anniversary Reunion - Jam Session, Part 1 (Steve Rankin)

On Saturday, August 6, 2016, I went to the Marriott Hotel & Convention Center at Burbank, CA, to take part in the 20th anniversary reunion of the cast and crew from the sci-fi/action/drama TV show "Space: Above and Beyond" (a.k.a. "Space 2063" in Europe as well as the show's acronym S:AAB, which sounds like the now-defunct Swedish auto company). "Space" aired from 1995 to 1996. For those who don't know anything about the show, think of it as "Top Gun" meets "Halo," "Independence Day," and "Starship Troopers" with elements from certain preceding anime titles such as "G Gundam," "Macross," and "Space Battleship Yamato." In this video clip, you will bear witness to 3 stars in the show: Steve Rankin, James Morrison, and Tucker Smallwood. Mr. Rankin is the one singing in this clip; he's on the left of the ensemble and played the role of Marine Corps Lieutenant Colonel (Lt Col) Raymond "Kick" Butts in the S:AAB episode "Ray Butts."
