1:02 - OMG!... Christopher lee! ROFL!
-
That's an immense base line.
-
I wish they would do a CGI remaster like they did for the original series of Star Trek
-
I was born in 1999

OMG! This video was uploaded on the 28th October 2010, the day before me and my parents moved houses.

Got the Network release. Awesome visual quality. The music sounds pretty cool too. The whole series stands up well with some very interesting episodes.

Barry 'The Source' Morse. Barbara 'The Milf' Bain.

Most influential sci-fi TV show of my life. Was watching this every saturday night in 1976 just before the Star Wars tsunami. I bought series 1 on blu ray three years ago and every visual aspect of this series still holds up, even with HD standards and being 40 years old.

This show is a classic! I can remember watching it in black and white in the 70s. Still watchable and believable and classic entertainment.
-
jesus! the quality on that!!!
-
Took itself v seriously though! Still a darned good bit of TV and ahead of its time in some ways
-

Today I bought a Blue Ray Box what includes 4 Discs with all 48 episodes of Alpha. The episodes are only in german language, but I speak german and so german is ok for me to understand. In some episodes of season 1 played a german actress, but she spoke english in the original films. I forgot to ask her, if her own voice was changed back into german language on the german film versions :-( The picture format of the Discs is 16 : 9. The cost of the box is 40 Euro (ca. 40 Dollar). Very cheap :-)

Did I see Joan Collins, Brian Blessed and Christopher Lee in this short trailer or did my eyes deceive me?

Who the hell is the idiot that took out Martin and Barbara from the first part of the opening?? THAT is the best part! Fucking unbelieveable...the ONE HQ DVD opening I find on here....and you remove them from right before the "Space: 1999" title. YOU are a serious Dumbfuck. Way to go Idiot!

Yeah, and although the quality of film was lacking, it's still watchable. I'm a fan of all the ones you mentioned, more so Doctor Who. All they've done here is made the colours more vibrant and crisper visually. It's like taking the scratches out of the old vinyl records. I have the full collection of Space 1999 on dvd, and i wouldn't trade them for BluRay versions.
