Well done fan video that ties up the loose ends.

The irony of the final image is huge (and I'm sure deliberate), namely 6:10 the Meta signal image Alpha was receiving in the very first episode, meaning that the original Meta signal was actually the Alpha Moonbase last transmission traveling backward in time and was mistakenly assumed to be from the planet Meta, then traversing the edge of the solar system. The irony of receiving (but not decoding) their final message before the incidents that sent them on their way even took place is brilliant closure.

Every story has been rebooted, we are waiting... what is the delay?

still beautiful. nice windup to the series. maybe if they had done this originally it would not have been as well received.

This was great I loved this show Barbara Bain was so beautiful and I liked Sonya Always wondered if they made it to a planet.

6 minute video yet the clock doesn't move!
-
when was this made?
-
Be nice if they brought the show back, but it's 25 years later and Alpha returns and ?????, can't tell all the secrets. The children of the original TV show are running things now.

Well made, good to see a final entry. Pity the show makers didn't wrap the show up properly all those years ago.

Wow--really well done. I miss that show. Tragic that it veered so far off the compelling framework of characters and situations established in Series 1. Everything clicked--excellent writing, great characters, and understated but really well done special effects. This short really wraps things up in a way that feels right.

Wow! Excellent production and great to see Sandra again. Certainly closes everything nicely.

To answer Klunker that moon would have fractured on such an explosion. Professor Bergman already said it that it was a cosmic intelligence saving us and later we saw he was correct. They wanted humanity's seed to spread through out the galaxy. This could have easily happened in another parallel universe of the multiverse. The amount of philosophy and humanity with technology is so rich that I show this to my children and that has brought some big interest in them in science and space and they ask some very interesting questions( instead of Walt Disney ). Show really is involving the minds of children in positive way for survival and what would you do if? Another good news with $12 a month Hulu is providing all the episodes in high definition. It is great.
