4. This was actually done a few years before Alien and with much less money. In fairness the movies that followed after series like this and Star Trek had these to learn from. They knew what wouldn't work because TV shows had experimented and failed.

6. These shows were cheaply done yeh and the budgets werent massive but thats what makes them good.
7. In fairness.... I agree the monster is pretty crappy, but this is a British TV series, not a blockbuster movie. The story was great - a relentless creature who tests the determination, hope and inginuity of the characters who are confined and thrown out of role. The only thing I would have scripted differently is to have the heros try to destroy the life support unit when there is no hope left - if we can have it, neither can they! I loved the Warriors soundtrack!!!
8. Good point made by drmanyuka, the first 'Alien' was filmed around this same era, and wasnt overwhelmingly insulting and/or embarrassing like this feeble and comical attempt. It's not as if this was "good for it's time". This sucked even then! This director should honestly be found, and hung!

12. You know, the monster didn't seem so mean. He seemed curious and confused. Like he might have been lonely and just looking for some friends.

16. I love the way he shambles out into the corridor at the beginning. You can practically hear him muttering under his breath, "Wellllp, looks like it's beer o'clock...."
