Ridiculous

Maybe I'm a little too logical and down-to-Earth, but I think episodes like this one are just TOO strange. After all--getting too far out and you approach becoming weird and incomprehensible. But that seems to appeal to some viewers.

Do those poor guys get thrown around EVERY episode?
-
"This is the Earth, but not the World we knew. It is the Earth where perhaps we never existed, or perhaps we have yet to be born. But apart from us, it's empty now..." Great lines. Who wrote them? Quite unforgettable. Barry Morse must have enjoyed reciting them.

plastic roses lol

I'm so thankful to have been born in an era that had great television shows, not the crap we have today !
-
Just rewatched this episode. After "Black Sun" it's my favorite.
-
How great was Barry Morse?
-
The first season was much more sophisticated than the second season. I appreciate the stories a lot more today as an adult than I did in the 1970's when I was 10.
-
Oh the same thing happened to me once when fell fast asleep in my dreams and told the other world that my time is almost up,in which I were soon to return my REMS dimensional entity plus original state reality."Or did I just type this entire documentation theory in reverse'?

1999tekrar. yayınlansın çok güzel

It was too bad that there was no season 3 to continue on the journey. Some say of there was to be another episode, it would be called 2016. But even after 1999 has past, we never made it on the moon for a real moon base. I think if there was to be a remake or another season, it should be call Moon Base Alpha.
-
They really down sized on season 2, with a much smaller command center.

My favourite episode. Thought provoking, imaginative and emotional. The very presence of the wonderful Barry Morse as the analytical and contemplative scientist always created a sense of credibility to each episode, and for me was my favourite character in the series. Lovely seeing Judy Geeson here too-powerful performance. Well written episode and beautiful music as always.

I left Moon Base Alpha on an eagle right before the initial event leading to this conundrum. Still I was caught up in it and thrown back in time to the Valley of Gwangi. I landed near a dinosaur that ate my craft, but I escaped. In a swampy valley I ran into a little green guy named Yoda, who used the 'force' on me and projected me into another dimension with a parting comment, "Like your own kind, we do not." I appeared in San Francisco of old Earth on a US. Navy ship where a guy fell off an internal catwalk while his girlfriend 'beamed' out with saboteur's information. I waited for the rescuers and at the last moment transported with them to a ship called Enterprise, same as the one the Navy had. They whipped me around the sun a few times and then transported me back to my own time on Moon Base Alpha where I awoke the morning I left. I'm pretty sure I was dreaming. Afterall, that Spock guy is just not possible.

This is the episode that I remember the most. Great to see Judy Geeson.

Would'nt two moons have an adverse effect on the earth, methinks it would.

Thanks Moonbubba1999!

Either that Regina chick has a mustache, or she forgot to wipe chocolate milk off her face before the camera started rolling.

Hi, This was one of my most favorite tv shows as a kid on a Saturday afternoon aired at 12pm but my Father would change the channel (ITV) to BBC for the sport and Horse Racing,...
Glad to find the episodes here after 30 odd years, saves me having to buy the "Box set DVD's"
Thanks Moonbubba1999!
