Solar System - Activity 7: Scale and Relative Distance

Students apply what they have learned about scale and relative size in order to explore the concept of relative distance. They measure distances from objects and decide on a scale, and draw their own scale maps. Students use their maps to compare and discuss the relative distances of the objects.
