An amusement park in Japan faced a deluge of criticism recently after opening an ice skating rink this month that featured thousands of dead fish suspended in ice. The theme park Space World, which is located in the southwestern city of Kitakyushu, closed the aquarium-themed skating rink on November 17 after an online campaign called the attraction, “immoral,” “cruel” and “disrespectful of life." According to a report, Space World wanted visitors to “have a sense of sliding on the sea," when they skated in the rink. The backlash began after a local television report on the rink, which featured about 5,000 dead fish embedded in ice. http://www.cnn.com/videos/world/2016/11/28/fish-ice-skating-rink-japan-space-world-orig.cnn http://www.wochit.com This video was produced by YT Wochit News using http://wochit.com
