For all of you that just can't make you minds up whether to get a remote control plane or a remote control helicopter, your prayers have been answered! The Silverlit I/R Space Phoenix combines the two, into what we can only call a 'planicopter'. It may look like a gimmick but the result is actually very impressive and incredibly stable in the air. The dual powerful main rotors enable a vertical take-off, whilst the smaller rear rotor provides the forward motion. Despite its complex appearance it is surprisingly easy to fly, which means its suitable for first time fliers as well as more frequent fliers. The Silverlit Space Phoenix is best suited to indoor flight, but providing there isn't much wind, it's also good fun when flying outdoors. The body is made out of a robust, lightweight and flexible foam, so it's not too bad at taking the occasional bump or heavy landing. The aircraft has a built in lithium polymer battery that charges directly from the handset. After a 25 minute charge your good to go for 10 minutes of flight time, and the different frequencies mean 3 can be flown together at the same time.
