See SpaceX rocket crash landing
About | Information | History | Online | Facts | Discovery
SpaceX's most recent attempt at pioneering a reusable rocket did not go as planned when the soft landing ended with a bang. The rocket ran out of hydraulic fluid minutes before landing, causing it to lose control and come in just short of the floating landing platform. While this first attempt was not successful, the company says they have at least a dozen more missions planned for 2015.

THE FUCK! those poor cows :<
-
... Well they tried with the space shuttle... And that turned out to cost more... I wonder if this will change anything.

While watching this video, press 3. You will be amazed.

Rofl that is the worst excuse ever "houston...pshhh...we don't have enough hydraulic fluid...." Houston: "where did it go? Hydraulic fluid isn't "used up"" "Psssht good point. Mustve been the flux capacitor then."
-
Man, they come a long way since then, huh.
-
poor cows
-
Need more boosters.

How do they get the barge to behave so well? I'd expect it to float away from the rocket, at least a little bit, but it seems to stay in place. Obv, they wouldn't even try if they weren't able to stabilize it, but how do they do it?

Stage 1?
-
guess you gotta be an idiot to be a rocket scientist
-
Why is the girl so affected?
-
WHY DO THEY PUT LIVE STOCK IN DANGER?
-
Elon jobs out too many components (obviously) to China. Phone Trump; he'll explain the stupidity behind using garbage parts. :)

It's not failure! Its a process of learning

Literally Rocket Science.

My congratuations to team SPACEX, well done...Hope in future the things will work picture perfect. Ofcourse failures are the step to success....all the best....my hearty greetings....

I don't understand why the gyro in the nose tip is not doing its job. A rocket that straight on a downward landing should respond to the gyro's guidance without a problem. I would be curious to know the weight and velocity (RPM) of the gyro. I just don't understand why it's not holding its relative position in space.

they just blew up another one trying to land. still a success. Go spaceX!
-
Will 50% more hydraulic fluid save over 15% on the next rocket booster insurance policy? Let's ask the gecko. Where is that little... where did he go? Forget it, go get that duck.
