Actually the whole thing around the Dark Sector / Warframe thing, was the original idea was basically Warframe, but then the people that Digital Extremes were working under wanted something different, so it kinda got turned into a different game.
Thus why DE was adamant about making and publishing Warframe by themselves, cause they didn't want what happened with Dark Sector to happen with Warframe.
Or at least that's what I remember of it. XD Could be wrong~ Been playing since back in like, closed beta. =P -
