Been working on a Shuttle over the past few weeks. It comes with ~11.500 delta-v at launch, and an additional ~1000 delta-v of hypergolic propellants for the two AJ-10 maneuvering engines as well as fuel for the on-board reaction control system. Both the shuttle and the external fuel tank are built with the same dimensions as their real life counterparts. The only difference is the SRB's that are slightly longer than in real life. Unfortunately there was no way around this without making edits to the parts myself. The shuttle can carry up to 20 tons of payload into low earth orbit. The shuttle is EXTREMELY difficult to get into orbit, but it is possible with some good piloting and trial and error. I am currently working on a kOS script that will automate the launches and save me lots of frustration. Video is using audio from the STS-125 mission in 2009.
