No injuries were reported on the ground after debris fell in flames over the launch site Tuesday evening. (AP / Eastern Shore News, Jay Diem) Attached to the rocket was the Cyngus cargo ship, carrying 5,000 pounds of supplies for the six astronauts currently living on the space station, including equipment for experiments. A NASA spokesman told The Associated Press that there was nothing urgently needed by the space station crew on the doomed rocket. NASA is using the Virginia-based Orbital Sciences and the California-based SpaceX to send supplies to the space station. Until Tuesday, all of the previous Orbital Sciences and SpaceX missions had been successful.
