Quantum Physics Explained

Quantum mechanics is the branch of physics relating to the very small. It results in what may appear to be some very strange conclusions about the physical world. At the scale of atoms and electrons, many of the equations of classical mechanics, which describe how things move at everyday sizes and speeds, cease to be useful. In classical mechanics, objects exist in a specific place at a specific time. However, in quantum mechanics, objects instead exist in a haze of probability; they have a certain chance of being at point A, another chance of being at point B and so on. Three revolutionary principles Quantum mechanics (QM) developed over many decades, beginning as a set of controversial mathematical explanations of experiments that the math of classical mechanics could not explain. It began at the turn of the 20th century, around the same time that Albert Einstein published his theory of relativity, a separate mathematical revolution in physics that describes the motion of things at high speeds. Unlike relativity, however, the origins of QM cannot be attributed to any one scientist. Rather, multiple scientists contributed to a foundation of three revolutionary principles that gradually gained acceptance and experimental verification between 1900 and 1930. They are: Quantized properties: Certain properties, such as position, speed and color, can sometimes only occur in specific, set amounts, much like a dial that "clicks" from number to number. This challenged a fundamental assumption of classical mechanics, which said that such properties should exist on a smooth, continuous spectrum. To describe the idea that some properties "clicked" like a dial with specific settings, scientists coined the word "quantized." Particles of light: Light can sometimes behave as a particle. This was initially met with harsh criticism, as it ran contrary to 200 years of experiments showing that light behaved as a wave; much like ripples on the surface of a calm lake. Light behaves similarly in that it bounces off walls and bends around corners, and that the crests and troughs of the wave can add up or cancel out. Added wave crests result in brighter light, while waves that cancel out produce darkness. A light source can be thought of as a ball on a stick being rhythmically dipped in the center of a lake. The color emitted corresponds to the distance between the crests, which is determined by the speed of the ball's rhythm. Waves of matter: Matter can also behave as a wave. This ran counter to the roughly 30 years of experiments showing that matter (such as electrons) exists as particles. everything is clear in this presentation. I mean, as clear as it can be with our limited understanding of quantum physics.
But just from an engineering point of view: how is it possible to measure that spin or to shoot 1 particle at a time? or 1 pair of particles? what exactly is a pair of particles? particles shot at the very same moment? Or photons of the same type of light?
bonus question: what is this epic retro gaming music?
thanx -
idk the music is kinda cool idk why everyone is tripping about it lol it gives off a creepy interesting vibe.
-
Are you sure this is the easiest explanation? So by viewing - (interaction) -results are altered? Really? And what is wrong with that cat?
-
i enjoyed music (the only one, looks like).....but i think have seen easier explanations.....(pics were nice too)
-
Very mysterious..my gut feeling is the objects are so small they are in a different reality then we are.
-
is that Schrodinger's Cat?
i thought It was dead? -
Fucking loud annoying music, how stupid
-
Einstein and Maxwell are both fraud.
Time travel is impossible. NASA lied about EM drive and Solar Sail. LIGO lied about detected gravity wave. Reality is a computer simulation is a lie. Globle warming is a lie. Flat earth is a lie. BS top scientists are leading the world's science.
Do we deserve a science revolution?

I'm so sick of animations demonstrating the Double Slit Experiment. It's simple enough for anybody to do at home.

What extremist Atheists need to prove is - something can come from nothing by nothing. This is why Agnostics are more rational. But after my in depth research, removing my social conditioning, being truthful to my existence, my life and my death I have concluded death there is an uncaused cause that is conscious. You can call it a higher power for now. Out of the hundreds of religions and philosophies, the only ones that talk about or cares about our connection with this higher power are Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Looking further into these with an open heart - Judaism is only for the Jews or "chosen people". They are not even interested in you converting to Judaism. Its not rational at all. Next up is Christianity, which is based on the teachings of Paul and a corrupt book. Bible scholars will tell you that Bible is corrupt. Paul does not oppose the devil, so he could have been inspired by him and hence introduced the Trinitarian theology into it. The last is Islam, which I accept with sound evidence as being the only theology that connects all humans to their Creator. Do your own research from the right sources. The Quran is a miraculous book. It is a book of guidance for those who seek guidance. And please don't listen to all the anti-Islamic propaganda out there. They are misinforming you about Islam in the media and elsewhere deliberately. Peace.

There must be an easier way to explain QP I am totally lost, same with the Big Bang Theory, Big Hole and E= MC2. People like Einstein, Hawking and Newton are Super humans.
-
and for all those thinking why the cats are there its because of schrondingers cat or whatever his name is lol that a cat can be both dead and alive
-
so in this they are saying the universe basically has a mind of its own or every particle has its own consioussness
-
you might want to adjust you audio...yo know bring to music down a bit..
-
Well. I actually watched it twice... And Still not sure if I understand quantum physics.. May be I will watch it again. And if understand this I will definitely go insane.
-
nope
-
that must be the most intelligent Cat in the universe
-
I.have got a headache

Possibly the movement of the particle creates a wave of energy which interferes with the particle itself. At such minute quantities the act of measuring with an instrument may interfere or absorbe aspects of the wave produced by movement of the particle through space.

good thing i heard everything with the super loud music in the backround
