Quantum Misunderstandings with Professor Brian Cox and Robin Ince
About | Information | History | Online | Facts | Discovery
Following some online 'discussions' with the likes of Deepak Chopra Brian Cox and Robin Ince clear up a few things about quantum mechanics. See the extended interview in Cosmic Genome. Apologies for sound issues by the way. This was recorded on the hoof in a large, echoey room, backstage at a loud Ed Fringe with a faulty air con that also had it in for us.... cosmicgenome.com

That ambient music seems to be coming out of the wall on my left side...

Strange music and lots of banging. Who the fuck put this together?
-
Deepak is a scientist?
More like pescdoscience ass hat. -
I think they were talking about Deepak Chopra but couldnt bloody hear cos of that f'n music.
But always great to see Brian and Robin on a screen. Just wish TIMK was on tv.

Very loud Robin Ince, very quiet Brian Cox, window blinds banging about and some bloody awful pipe music over everything...I can see why people are misunderstanding QM. It's because they can't hear it!

The belief in linear causality is a basic axiom of the whole structure of the ego/mind dualistic belief system. To see through that illusion is the most important and greatest leap available for getting closer to comprehending Reality.
It is critical to grasp that the illusion of linear causality as an explanation for the observed phenomena of life is the major and most profound limitation of thought. It is the major block that cannot be transcended even by intellectual geniuses. The intellect which serves to aid the progress of civilization becomes entrenched in the psyche and becomes the major obstacle to Realization. Although causality is a major illusion, it is really not a difficult one to solve once it is disassembled.
Mentation, reason, logic, and language are all structured dualistically, based on the axiom that there is a subject and an object, that there is a 'this' doing or causing a 'that'. Reason strives to find a connection between a witnessed phenomenon and some antecedent which is most commonly located in prior time. Logic then concludes that what precedes an event must somehow be its 'cause' or explanation. It confuses temporal sequence with causation.
The term "cause" is an abstract hypothesis, a tautology, an intellectualization which has no concordant substrate in reality. It is at best an operational supposition to satisfy the mind's requirement for an 'explanation'. Fallacy arises out of the mind's proclivity to ask the redundant and fatal question "Why?"
There is no 'why' to anything in Reality and, in fact, no 'why' can be answered and still stay within Reality. All answers to "why" questions are intrinsically fallacious as they require a jump from verifiable observables to hypothetical suppositions which are all mentations.
Events and conditions have a source or origination but not a cause. The concept of 'cause' limits comprehension to content only, whereas, in reality, all content is subject to context. This is the very crux of the understanding that allows consciousness to jump from mere reason to Realization.
Neither God nor Truth can be found within the limitation of content only for, by simple observation, content is only definition or description whereas context supplies meaning, significance, and concordance with the reality of existence itself. This is important to comprehend not only in spiritual work but also in everyday social and political policies.
To fail to properly contextualize content has historically been the basis for the slaughter of millions of people in every century throughout human history. To ignore context is the greatest source of catastrophe for every generation of man, and it continues on in the present time with the same catastrophic consequences. There is no greater lesson that needs to be learned to reduce human suffering and bring ignorance to an end. -
Buy a second mic, stick it on the person you are interviewing.

They need to film the The Infinite Monkey Cage for the podcast version.

Particle don't existe, there is only wave in field, particle are only what you see when you try to see or measure the wave in the field. It is simple the measurement apparatus or your eyes are made of wave that we call particle when waves interact at a position it give the illusion that the point of interaction is a particle.

TURN THAT FUCKING MUSIC OFF!!!!!
-
What's with the background music??!!
Very distracting -
An electron (or any thing) changes state (moves) according to "hological self replication. Essentially this means that movement (or any change of state) is self replication of the object inside its own "syntactic boundary" or else prior image. This is a precise description of quantum behavior which applies to macro scale objects as well, with the caveat that a static universe with "contracting" contents is equivalent to an expanding universe with static contents. These concepts may be too advanced for today's physicists, but your kids are going to love them. Learn all you can about physics & science, but read & coprehend C.M.Langan's CTMU for an actual "reality theory" & scientific philosophy.

That interviewer is hilarious. What a strange fellow
-
Interesting, but what's with the Muzak!?

Just look at how coked up Cox is. The eyes, nose, lack of eye contact. Science is a religion, it's based on Faith. No matter what they say, it's all theory. You can devise a math equation to "prove" anything. Look at the equation for gravity, it involves what is know as a constant. A constant is a number you take as a given and use it to solve an equation. The large G, in the gravity equation is a constant. Gravity is a lie. It's common sense that anything of a greater mass or density is going to settle, or fall to the bottom. That's not gravity, it's simple common sense. Just like what goes up must come down.

I wish you would have let him talk.
