PV Solar system part one the battery bank
About | Information | History | Online | Facts | Discovery
I have started building my battery bank that I will be charging with my solar panels. I may be working backwards but because the batteries were available and free I decided to start there. This is four out of the eight batteries I will be using in the bank. I am putting them all in as a twelve volt system so the batteries will be in parallel. I have been debating on running this as twelve volts or twenty four volts so I will start with twelve and switch over to twenty four if it is a better solution.

@shelladavis I hear what you are saying! I have not committed to leaving it there as I have another 4 batteries to add. I think I will be moving them down the wall away from the fuse panel. This was just a temp placement to get them charging. I have more to add to the system and this will cause me to change the layout of the charge controller and the battery bank. Thanks for watching!
