Great album but the uploader (freebooter) couldn't have used more anti-climatic footage. Other than being footage from space and of spacecraft, this video fails terribly to represent the narrative of the album.

Wouldn't it be glorious if a US president showed this much vision, motivation and unbridled ambition again? There may be a lot of truth that the race was inspired by fear of the Soviet space programme but the shining goal that was laid out by JFK was what motivated the engineers, astronauts and supporters. Recent history shows us that fear and jingoism are being used for wholly negative goals. We can - we must - hijack that process for good.

if you are of a certain age (like me), you lived through all this. Just put this on and close your eyes. Black and white TV with a certain graininess to the picture and a narrative by James Burke and Raymond Baxter. What times we lived through. Still await further progress on some serious space travel though!!

"Gagarin" was all over UK radio last year, but "The Other Side" is astonishing! (Hat tip to "New Sounds" podcast). Oh! and Smoke Fairies my mate's band! Nice.
