modified sine - no thanks.

EMP proof, really ? Where is the proof ? ? ? This box of stuff looks like a science experiment by a 12th grader. Obvious items are ...why two inverters when a real quality PURE SINE is obtainable. Next, the wiring is not 10 awg like most solar panels use with MC4 connectors...looks like a cheap 50 ft. extension cord with probably 14 ga. wire is modified to a cheap set of duplex outlets. It likely has a PWM controller that has to be manually switched instead of auto-sensing voltage. No telling what low quality batteries are under the lid, those battery cables look like 4 ga. by the quick glance. If at best, this set-up is like a convenience store....handy but low quality at a inflated price. Perhaps good for a beginner. If you do your homework, this system says WARNING...buyer beware ! JK

I will probably use this video to teach me what NOT to do when I build my own. And as for the case....... I intend to make a case that doubles as a Faraday cage.

is there a UL listing on this? as i do not see any GFCI protection

Question; i need about 8 hours of electriity, for PC computer and light power for my camp to run small frig, office , printer etc for office work during day. how big would I need to go with panels for this in order to have it charge more than I am using during day since I can't get fully recharged during afternoon and evening espeically in maine winter. this price is about same as putting in hard wire electric from power grid, but I hate monthly bill.

You did not show us the batteries. I am guessing they are not quality deep cycle like they should be, as the rest of this build is pretty terrible, and way overpriced. I also didn"t see any breakers, and using an ac outlet to plug in your panels is asinine. Disapointed in the products you have been promoting lately.

Thumbs down for supporting and sponsoring a product that violates Electrical Code, never use a/c outlets for d/c. This product utilizes a/c out for d/c in. I understand ease in design but that should never sacrifice safety. It is a hazard to those unaware and can cause injury or death by assumption that one could charge batteries with
A/C. -
it looks like there may be room for additional batteries. Is there?
-
For the cost it seems to be a pretty good unit. Of course one can build a duplicate cheaper but for the everyday person this design will perform as intended. Add the fact it is self contained and portable makes it a decent purchase.

Awesome! Made in the USA then? Sadly our Canadian dollar is suck holing at about 25% below the US dollar so would be a pretty penny to import right now between freight and duty and exchange. After all that Quantitative Easing you'd think we'd be closer in dollar value but who said life is fair?

Is the charge controller MPPT.
-
This video is blocked, and I'm in NY???
-
I don't think this should be 2,300$ ... You can assemble these for half that price, if not less.
-
also, is there a way you can make a mod so this can fit in the back of an electric golfcart and tie in the golf cart batts? would be a whole lot easier to move around that way....the "bugout buggy" is born....;)
-
can you make an expansion plug to add more batts?
-
how much more for another panel?
I am going to buy one from you, -
You have access to some cool equipment. Thanks for bringing them to us.

Good idea, poor design on the box and input from the panel. Just my opinion. If I pay a premium price for a product, I dont want a box with painted plywood cut outs in it.
