I had the 12inches Playback version... the one I prefer. That version was recorded or rather engraved differently: The grooves were alot more spaced and slightly deeper. I played that with a Pioneer turn table (don't remember the model), on a Pioneer 1010 Hi-Fi amp with 100watt RMS per channel, blasting through 2 Pioneer HPM 900 speakers (plus 2 home made ones.) The sound was KaFukinPow, lemme tell you. I still have that Pioneer sound system - a 40 years old system that is- and it can still blast sound like it was yesterday that I got it. The bass on that old biatch will still blur your vision at each beat.

I'm confused, this song's artist has 2 different names? Is it Player 1 or is it Flashback.

The 7" version of this was my very first musical purchase, and I still have the disc. (The Space Invaders upright game was huge, with dual buttons before the invention of the joystick - I lived on that machine) I have never heard the 12" version of this track before. Thx for the up.

My mum's got the WEA 45rpm radio cut (shorter than this one) from an old juke box that was in a friend's pub. Released in Australia around 1979 too, I think. Wow, memories :)
