the 7th best selling single in Australia in 1980 was this Top 3 smash 'Space Invaders' by studio outfit Player 1. Russell Dunlop and Bruce Brown created the track in late 1979 which well and truly caught the zeitgeist and was released in the United States, under the moniker Playback, so as not to be confused with Player of 'Baby come back' fame. A full length album was released, but Player 1 are destined to become great one hit wonders. Enjoy the extended version.
