Images are usually obtained as a video to compensate for atmospheric turbulence and then processed into a still image by taking the best frames from the video. quick question. did you take 3 seperate videos? and how long were they. I would think 3 seperate videos and jupoiter has already moved. I was taking only 15 to 29 second avi when i last imaged jupiter

Thanks very much for this video.

Great video, thanks! Can you answer a few questions: Why is there no luminance channel and just the RGB? Can a luminance channel be used too? Lastly, how are you getting your F4.7 scope to ~F34?? Thanks for your help and knowledge!

Thanks for the video. I have a lot to learn but I am determined to learn to do this.

can i use images instead of video?! my camera canon T3 don't let me to take video when is in primary focus with telescope
-
Wow you gave a lot of info in a short time not sure if I got it all but the results speak for themselves

Very nice result for a fairly low quality scope:) About a quarter wave optics i think. Check my google plus channel to see what a quality apochromat can do!! Jupiter, Saturn, and M42!! The seeing for Jupiter and Saturn was average the night the shots were taken. Here in Tasmania we get amazingly clear seeing a lot of the time:) Much the same processing as here, but no photoshop tweaking:) Scope is a Williams Optics Flourostar 110!! Beautifully crafted with very good optics for a top grade commercial scope:)

I know this is an older video, but I thought i'd throw this tipout, PS have an auto align option for the layers. I think it's called stacking. been a while since i used it.
