About | Information | History | Online | Facts | Discovery
Ed Wood's cult classic has been hailed as the worst film of all time, but it's one of the most hilariously entertaining movies you'll ever see. Aliens from outer space reanimate the Earth's dead in an attempt to save the human race. Will their 9th plan work? With string-powered flying saucers, laughable dialogue, shrewd alien logic and "priceless" special effects, they can't go wrong. Or can they? (Hint: They do.) Plan 9 is a movie so beautifully bad, it's great. Our much anticipated pre-release of Ed Wood's Plan 9 From Outer Space in color for the first time is now available. We have given this film the most extensive restoration to date, plus we've added tons of rare and hilarious bonus features including an audio commentary from Mike Nelson of "Mystery Science Theatre 3000." Our special bonus features include never-before-seen Ed Wood home movies, bizarre Ed Wood commercials and the astonishing Plans 1-8. Plus, this limited edition pre-release DVD is individually autographed by Mike Nelson. As an extra bonus, we've included a nifty limited edition alien air freshener, "Alien Fresh." best movie in the world.

This movie is bad, but not the worst I ever saw Manos: The Hands of Fate. The music is pretty cool and the setting has a classic feeling. It was entertaining to watch this.
-
You must have some serious digestive problems if your crap is so pale.
-

Dr. Stepford's robots can't tell him he's boring as hell.

-
@0:10 why do they need to throw the corpse :( Thats just bad....and hilariously funny!
-
actually the ray harryhausen films look better in colour.the third one "it came from beneath the sea' was done by a different colourization company West Wing Studios.
-
I love how when they colorized the ray gun, they made the tip orange tecnically making it a capgun...
-
It's terrible how colorizing just ruins the suspense and performances in this movie.
-
it may not be the best movie, but is not the worst due the fact we still watching this film , and some how we got attached to the screen once we star watching the film, don´t know what it is, maybe psychedelia or something else ,but you have to be on the mood to enjoy it,

I love this film! I was entertained the first time I watched it. I cannot call this the worst film ever made because I enjoy it so much. There are plenty of movies that I have watched that bored me or made me lose interest. This one never did! So thank you Ed Wood!
-
wow, this is about the best colourizing I have seen. It actually works well, unlike some of the Ray Harryhousen classics that just look bad once colour has been added.
-
@geovettes The movie "Ed Wood" also gets into how confident he was in the makings of his movies.
