I remember seeing a livestream by someone else on this. Then, in the chat, some guys made really funny comments and ruined the atmosphere.

Diesel spaceships are great. Much more efficient than the old kerosene fueled designs.

I'd love to see an end of the world / zombie / cosmic horror game with a narration style that is not utterly pompous and clichee

It has a creepy build up with a creepy erie atmosphere, but then when you get down to being attacked by the enemy, you start to realize it was just another game that failed to replicate SOMA.

Honestly, the only way they could really make me care about audio log inclusion again is if they also had voice locks. Have them serve a real purpose like you playing around with the recording to get them to say something to bypass computer restrictions or doors or control an otherwise unmanageable AI or something. Maybe even forge into new asshole physics territory by using enough voice recording to pretend like the crew is still alive so you can ask your mega-corp boss back on earth for more money.

Immerse the player with clever use of audio and visuals. Telling the player how he is supposed to feel is not an equally valid option. -
