Everything you could want to know about the 7th planet from the Sun: Uranus. Includes real images taken from Voyager 2 in 1986, and from the Hubble Space Telescope. This video has been a long time coming, and I'm sorry it's taken a year for this episode in the series. I have been dreading making this video, as I knew there wasn't a lot of real imagery of the planet and I wondered how I was going to show what I was explaining. Thankfully, using Space Engine and Universe Sandbox2 has been incredibly helpful, although as a result I probably put the most hours into this video than any other I have made so far. I'm really happy with how it turned out though and I hope you did too. We discuss the orbit, physical characteristics, atmosphere and magnetosphere and a lot more. Have any questions? Uranus is the only giant other than Jupiter to have an undisrupted satellite system. We really need to send an orbiter of the Galileo/Cassini type to study the Uranian system.

I'm interested in timesclales and dynamics of star forming regions where hugs stars and enveloped in masses of dust and planets and just explode outwards in a confusing mess, as show in the hubble images of star nurseries. i'm interested in what we know about hte particle sizes of star nurseries and how many planetislams they hide from IR, and what they would look like if we could time lapse them for millions of years.

IF you want you can do a video about the teebug or something star which is part of a group of moving stars about 40-80 ly away from the earth that have been traced back to a zone in between two planetary nebula or something where they are thought to have been enoucraged to form by the winds of a supernova.
