Okay, so what if we got amino acids/all the building blocks of life, and shot them into space randomly, or at a specific planets? Planets with harsh environments, and planets that are able to sustain human life. What do you think would happen?

This video should be re-titled. It should read: How Pro Documentary thinks life began.

those that wish to warm themselves in the fleece of ignorance are warm full and content in an answer that is truth to them. Faith is a singular truth shared by those who don't want to be bothered with harsh reality of the universe. It feels good when you think you've got the world figured out. The scientist lives in a more frightening world where every answer unlocks more questions. The search for truth never ends. And it's not supposed to. It's a quest. It's a way of looking at the world with curiosity and wonder. Faith dulls the senses. It's a roadblock to scientific industrial economic and sociological advancement. I choose to continue to wonder about the world. I choose science. Not because it has the answers but because it's asking the questions.

I was expecting how life began, not how life survived once it started. Oh, well, I guess science can only tell us so much.

Here we go again with the "Triple B", The 'Big Bang Bullshit', THEORY, these people talk as if they were there millions of years ago.

Everyone's warring over science Vs god (it's science, by the way), meanwhile i'm sat here wondering why the aspect ratio is wank.

everything is alive. there is no jump to make. it moves and responds and changes over time? sounds like life to me

And thus God said to the people. Go to the far reaches of YouTube and comment the truth of his word in every evolution-based video and disregard any scientific progress the world has to give.

great video its REAL SCIENCE.

I'm thinking about whether there is advanced life elsewhere in the Universe and if so would we ever meet them. Well based on existing evidence like the fact that a planet needs to have water to enable life (as we know it) to start in the first place; have a moon about the size of ours (which in itself is extremely rare) to control tides and seasons and to keep the planet on a steady keel. Then it needs to be sitting in the Goldilocks Zone to maintain an acceptable climate for life to flourish in the first place and then it needs comet catchers like Jupiter, Saturn and Uranus to help prevent comets and meteors from hitting the planet to stop life extinction events and then it needs a star like ours, as young as ours so it won't supernova any time soon. Then I look at the huge distances any life form would need to travel to find ANY other life forms existing in the Universe. In my humble opinion, I would be very surprised to find that advanced life capable of travelling the distances needed to reach us simply would not exist yet. In fact I would think that we are still too primitive a culture to even be of interest to Aliens with technologies capable of interstellar travel. It is interesting to realise though that humanity probably arrived here from outer space in the first place; formed from bacteria arriving in Meteorites. That's cool; that makes us through the process of evolution, life created from outer space. So we are the Aliens. With that said, the same could have happened on other planets in other constellations far, far away....but will we ever meet them? I don't think so, certainly not in our lifetime.
