Finally made a long awaited trip it to Seattle. Drove north from SeaTac there it was the iconic landmark regally standing alone down by the waterfront.. Found the dive motel up past the UW area then headed straight back south toward the towering tripod.. It was dusk by then & the effect made the view from the obs deck even more spectacular. What the Empire State Bldg is to NYC the Space Needle is to Sea. Humbled to say I've seen the view from both now. Magnificence 3000 miles apart.
