I don't know too many people that lock their outhouse.. :)

what will happen if we run out of oil and metal? we will one day live using human power only...

Were did you get the dish mounts I'd love to find them. I need to figure a way to mount 8 panels real soon my batteries will show up in 2 weeks nice set up by the way

Paint a cresent moon, on the door to complete the "out house", ruse!

Nice! Appreciate the overview. I have an AIMS 12V 2000W inverter and it has both outlets and direct wire, but it's understandable on how one can get confused in regards to models and options. I also purchased the remote head unit so I could get more info out of the inverter, but it doesn't provide much vs. the cost. Having the battery switches is never a bad idea, so money well spent. It provides more options when you have to change out or service any of your components. Feedback - make sure you're venting the building. I think I saw that the roof is allowing outflow of air, but didn't see any air intake on the lower part of the building. Given where you are, that will cause issues especially in the summer.

Grant power battery will last for 25 years and maintenance free and no gas

2 outbacks system wire your to a 48volt
get a 350w solar 4 panels try it out -
Yeah ok but what about if who enters your property wants to take a shit

just a note... instead of drilling another hole through your pole, why not weld or braze a nut on the outside of the main pole, and use the same bolt to snug down on the inside pole. more holes means making the main pole weaker at that point. did you fill your pole with concrete? might be a good idea to make it stronger in case of a strong wind. as far as 12 volt vs 24 volt inverter, and your cables getting hot... with a 24 volt system would run cooler and you wouldn't have to change any cables out , due to not as high of a current running through them. smaller, cheaper fuses and not having to run as many batteries... . just a note. but none the less, you have a nice setup and it is neatly put together....

fence posts, iron gate and dish swivel mount....genius! that helps, thanks!

Maybe I missed this information but with your solar set up what all are you able to power and for how long? Do you use the RV A/C?
-

I won't say exactly where, but it's off I-40 between Williams and Kingman.

Hey man good video. Looks like u were up in the Concho Area ? Ive got property up there.

Your solar panel mounts: Absolutely brilliant re-purposing of commonly available hardware items to suit your needs. Especially the satellite dish mount & the pool rail fencing section! Well done. :)
