Norse Mythology 1 Creation of the Universe
About | Information | History | Online | Facts | Discovery
Tales from the Norse Legends by Edward Ferrie (Author), Benjamin Soames (Narrator) The tales of the Norse gods, of the giants, demons, trolls and dwarves, still have the power to fascinate more than a thousand years after they were first told. Here are the stories of the one-eyed god Odin, the all-seeing, who from his throne in Asgard the home of the gods, has to prepare for Ragnarok, the final conflict between good and evil. There are tales too of Tyr the god of war, of the cunning Loki, of Thor the mighty thunder god and a host of others. These retellings of the old tales are given extra dramatic perspective by the music of Mahler, Greig, Smetana, They come to life as never before.

Boring and stupid. All religions are stupid.

where is this from? I've never hear do Surt being the first being before, or of any stories depicting muspellsheim as an evil place. This sounds like norse legend after christianity took hold. Normally the first being is the frost giant Ymir.

Much better than the bible lol
-
A giant cow.
-
I wish this had lasted into modern times rather than Christianity, at least religion would be more interesting then
-
"his right foot mated with his left foot" meanwhile I can't even get a text back

Is This Real ?

Huh jeg som trodde at surt var en jotun jeg.

Spænende.

I like how you can take most creation stories from most religions and fit them together like a puzzle with science. Before the big bang there was nothing according to science, and most religions say in the beginning there was nothing. Fascinating.

It seems like you are building up towards Ragnarok. Is there a video of that event as well? Or are you still going make one?

What if the Hebrew and the Nordic mythology is the same? I mean both have Satan (surt and Satan) They both have heaven and hell and so on.

Well done! Thanks.
