New Lunar Craters Mystery | Space News

New scientific reports are once again forcing planetary scientists to rewrite the history of our own moon. A new study into the lunar surface contradicts the notion that cratering on the moon occurs incrementally over vast eons of time. A team of scientists studied several thousands of before and after images of the moons’ surface, with the visual data covering nearly a million square miles. What they found is that lunar cratering appears to occur at a rate more than 100 times faster than the standard impact model has predicted. Could electrical processes on the moon be responsible for the cratering? Wow!! The moon is young!? So... the creationists was right!?
-
With as often as the Earth goes through meteor showers it's no wonder the moon gets impacted often from the same sources. I understand the EU theory and believe you have a good model of electrical interactions in the universe but, I'm going to reserve judgement on cratering on the moon being caused by electrical charges and not meteors. Most of the moons cratering is on the far side. We have videos of objects hitting the moon and seeing the flash of impact. I wont rule out the possibility of a big electrical discharge causing small craters but, there will need to be more evidence of it happening and the frequency of it happening if there is evidence.

good report

This titles are so hilarious!
-
Isn't it so, however, that the face of the moon with the most cratering faces away from the earth? How does that fit with the notion about discharges between the moon and the earth? Are the craters on the back side all from bigger events in the (far) past? How much cratering is on the earth side, and how much activity is there on that side? The "news" in this video seems a bit too vague.

2:45 butt hole.
-
So, moon acne xD
-
It would be interesting to find out if cratering is more frequent at full moon, when the Earth's magnetotail contacts the moon.
-
just goes to show you, most models are flawed,we don't understand shit!!!!!!!@
-
So I mentioned this possibility to Ben over at Suspisious0bservers a while back - I was called a troll and ignored since - cheers community, good to see your remaining open minded.
-
ok so maybe its just a time lapse camera, however that would be a way to prove it without a doubt
-
If it is true about electricity creating those spots on the moon and now they have a camera up there recording the changes, can we not see an electric arc doing it and therefore prove that is what it is.
-
So... are you proposing that the latest craters were sculpted electrically when the moon passed through the earth's 'magneto-tail' ? Should be easy to figure out, I suppose—when were the latest observed "new" craters and WAS that at a time the moon passed through... you get what I mean?
-
Maybe it looks younger because it is younger?
-
These are not pictures of the moon,s surface, they are pictures of skin surfaces under a high powered microscope.
-
This is cool and all, but it would be nice to see more actual experiments, lab work, papers, and so on, rather than just continuous chatter, and repetition. Most people following this channel are already aware of electric discharge machining, and that's only the tip of the iceberg. What everyone needs to learn is electrical theory and how it works, not just repeating "see, electricity did it!"
-
How can stars can be seen through the moon? Sounds like an impossibility but many recorded observations support it. The moon may have electrical properties but is nothing like what we are told. The moon projects it's own light
-
They look more like the small holes left when bubbles pop in lava or boiling mud.
-
Now we're getting somewhere! Great report!
