Nevenko Bilić "Space and time in modern cosmology" The talk given at the Fourth PHYSICS & PHILOSOPHY Conference "Time, Space and Space-Time" :: University of Split - Croatia :: 6--7 July 2015. Abstract. After an introduction to theoretical and observational cosmology a few basic concepts will be discussed. Special attention will be devoted to the concepts of time and space in the context of creation, inflation, and current universe expansion. In that regard some recent ideas will be discussed such the braneworld cosmology and its relation to the so called AdS/CFT correspondence.
