The colored dots are clusters within one of four distance ranges, with redder colors indicating greater distance. Colored ellipses show the direction of bulk motion for the clusters of the corresponding color. Images of representative galaxy clusters in each distance slice are also shown. Credit: NASA/Goddard/A. It the Torus effect

next x-factor song. (i hope)

Interestingly, new evidence suggests that this is mainly an illusions caused by supernovae. Perhaps the CMB is too. Scientists should be more cautious when dealing with astronomy.

First Yikes! and Second: thanks for reminding me of that. I had to go back to see if I could find a way to understand what they were saying. I don't yet understand EU (no gravity?). But with PC it seems that there is no evidence for a second universe that is negatively charged. To me it seems like an older version of the Multi-verse. I know of no scientist who will not freely acknowledge that the MV theory is a hypothetical theory based on hypothetical theories.

I have also been regretting sounding snarky about Alan Guth. He is a brilliant scientist. The comment I made about him was intended as teasing, there was not any intention of degrading his brilliance. In all likelihood you don't know him personally, but I just don't want anyone reading this to think that he does not deserve a great amount of respect for the work he's done. As I said he is brilliant.

This is the online debate I'm referring to that will occur later this summer. I have given them your contact info at "pseudorandomly" on YouTube to put on the list of people to contact when it begins. It should be very interesting. It's a model of the universe that fits the known laws of physics and does not require those problems mentioned below, and only one premise is changed.
-
"I'm not a believer in some ultimately-unknowable Truth Beneath It All." - The truth is what you believe it is, and if that's what you believe then it must be true. I also believe that our senses are relatively accurate in determining reality. Or they wouldn't have evolved as our senses. However, there is an absolutely real phenomena of "point of view." Which gets back to "Logic" and "Premise" if you have an incorrect premise you can prove anything.
-
I think there is a shift will be coming, in our perception, that will allow science to clear up these things in an understandable way. I think our current model is messed up. However, if you're asking about the "reality" vs the "perception" - that will take a long time to talk about. Basically, we can never know - our perception is all we will ever have.
-
Also, I would point out it isn't actually, "a model that explains all the facts" unless you pick an choose your facts- Infinite Density(unexplained), Dark Energy (unexplained), Dark Matter(unexplained), Dark Flow, Flat Universe, Inflation Theory (only Alan Guth is allowed to get away with breaking the known laws of physics), Quasars, Gamma ray bursts, Duality of light and matter, Why Gravity is the weakest force, (all unexplained), If you can explain any of them you will win a Nobel Prize.

OK, first I acknowledge that most of the people that sound like us are religious/ alien wacko's. So, let me assure you that we are knowledgable scientists. Actually, the 500 character limit is a little too restrictive for this discussion. I happen to know that there will be a debate on this topic sometime later this summer. I'll give them your channel so you can see/join online. Or subscribe to the Youtube channel "DynamicUniverse". When they add videos you can see where the debate is headed.
-
Your right. it's good/vital to keep an open mind about these things. Enjoy.

Ah, a 500 word limit... the next words after "wait." were "Be passionate yes,..." Your comment is, what that means. The idea is wait to be convinced. Not "wait to investigate". You seem to be convinced about things that are hypothetical theories based on hypothetical theories. Just because you currently don't have an answer doesn't mean you are forced to put forth an answer and believe it to be reality. That is always dangerous ground for any philosophy.
-
Logic theory: "you can prove anything with a false premise" - since there are so many hypothetical theories based on hypothetical theories in today's astrophysics, and a fundamental conflict between the General theory of Relativity and Quantum Theory, this indicates that a change in perspective must be coming to the science community. The best course of action for a scientist now it to wait. Be passionate yes, but it is not the time in physics to be convinced of anything yet.
-
Respectfully, once you are not restricted by the known laws of physics you can create an argument that justifies anything.

Fuck niggers

LEARN. ENGLISH.

what you've just said... Is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever seen. At no point, in your rambling, incoherent response, were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone reading your comment is now dumber for having read to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

You're delusional and illiterate.

Amen to that crystalsoldier

This asymmetry in galaxy movement disproves the Big Bang, because it should take billions of years to form.
