Howdy! Do you run your yard lights all night, every night? Are they on a timer, or just a switch?
-
Look into running a Grid Tie inverter all the time the grid is up. check them out.

Thanks so much. The first video on a simple solar set up that actually is simple and easy to understand.

How can you have a 1500W inverter if you only have a 190 W panel? It means you only have max. 15A coming from your panels to feed the batteries? You cannot turn a heater (1000W) on for more than an hour or your batteries will be dead?? What kind of batteries do you have?

I meant you could have 2 inverters, 1 off grid, 1 connect directly to the grid.

Just have to do a lot of research. Don't buy the first thing you see.

great set up I was wondering if where could I get the most reliable one there are so much available online....
-
No. I want a backup, off grid system, not a grid tie.. When the grid goes down so does your system... not much of a backup.... Pluse the savings is minimual at $0.08KW.

You should get a grid tie inverter to sale back some power to utilities company.
