Dr. George F. R. Ellis (PhD. Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics) delivered the prestigious Copernicus Center Lecture in 2012, in which he briefly surveys the state of cosmology today. In this clip, Dr. Ellis addresses what he calls "The Physics Horizon", or the foreseeable limits in the field. He also criticizes contemporary formulations of the multiverse, arguing that because multiverse models are untestable even in principle, they are therefore not good science.
