Small neodymium magnets would have been good to hold the command module in place.

Testors decal coating in a rattlecan is even easier.

Good job overcoming those decal setbacks. I think your solutions work better than decals anyway. Those detail inserts for the engine cans look super.

Hint: To help alleviate the decal's "brittleness", you can apply "Microscale Liquid Decal Film" to the decal design before cutting them out.
