Well, this was quite a hell of work. This is my attempt to play the original Axel F Theme, by Harold Faltermeyer. As I did with the 2nd version of my Photographic (Depeche Mode) video, I redid by ear the entire song with ModPlug Tracker. Then I muted the parts over which I wanted to play. All the sounds are programmed by me, except the brass on the Roland D-50 and the FM marimba sound on the Yamaha SY-77, which are presets that I slightly edited (mainly to add effects and remove keyboard dynamics) I told that this was quite a hell of work because of the very difficult (to me as a keyboard novice) timing and sync between some parts of the melody/chords and the bass line, together with the little tweaking of the patch on the JP-8000 while playing. And not to mention that I'm playing on 4 keyboards... Actually sometimes my playing it's not as good as I wanted, but for now, with the skills I have, I cannot achieve more. Here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2345020/Beverly%20Hills%20Cops%20Theme.xm you can download the complete module I did for this video. By the way there's a new entry seen in this video: the Roland JX-8P. And obviously a new webcam, which I bought especially for this occasion ;-) AND... last but not least... FUCKOFF THAT AWFUL CRAZY FROG SHIT!!! I hope you like the video. As usual, constructive comments are welcome :-)
