The goal is to introduce the populace - be they new to the barony or a veteran of many years - to the different kinds of medieval food they may encounter at SCA feasts. The classes aim to discuss ingredients, cooking techniques, and unique flavors that make each kind of cuisine stand out as part of its culture's identity. This class, researched and taught by Meisterin Felicitas Flußmüllnerin, is meant to introduce us to some basics about how the Landsknecht soldiers of the late 15th - early 16th century German military would have eaten while "on the go." Meisterin Felicity has kindly offered her handout from this class for download on the Barony of Delftwood web page. It can be found at: INSERT WEB ADDRESS HERE.
