Martinus Cosmology – an Introduction
About | Information | History | Online | Facts | Discovery
"Who am I?" . . . "Do suffering and death have any meaning?" . . . "What is the significance of love?" At the age of 30 the Danish writer and mystic Martinus (1890-1981) had a series of profound, illuminative spiritual experiences, after which he experienced – through his intuition – that the universe was pervaded by infinite love and wisdom. He created 100 symbols and wrote more than 6000 pages that describe a coherent world picture, the eternal, spiritual laws and a path to theoretical cosmic insight. The universal love and humility is an idea that has come before and is a very fine goal indeed.
Though I have come to believe that their opposites are products of our finite material world.
If we have a soul, isn't then the mind anchored to it, as the mind is to the body?
So long we have bodies that are finite and dependent on limited resources, these opposites will exist.
So the video states, contrasts are needed for anything to exist.
To be truly free of negative emotions or actions one must not hold no values. This leads me to think that the less you value, the less negative emotions you will have. Although what you do value could then have greater value as it is concentrated.
Perhaps this is a life free of ownership and superficial "needs". One day. -
So beautiful! :)
