Band: Arcade Fire Song: We Used To Wait Lyrics I used to write I used to write letters I used to sign my name I used to sleep at night Before the flashing lights settled deep in my brain But by the time we met The times had already changed So I never wrote a letter I never took my true heart I never wrote it down So when the lights cut out I was left standing in the wilderness downtown Now our lives are changing fast Hope that something pure can last It seems strange How we used to wait for letters to arrive But what's stranger still Is how something so small can keep you alive We used to wait We used to waste hours just walkin around We used to wait All those wasted lives in the wilderness downtown Ooooo we used to wait Sometimes it never came Ooooo we used to wait Sometimes it never came Ooooo we used to wait Still moving through the pain I'm gonna write a letter to my true love I'm gonna sign my name Like a patient on a table I Wanna walk again Gonna move through the pain Now our lives are changing fast Hope that something pure can last Ooooo we used to wait Sometimes it never came Ooooo we used to wait Sometimes it never came Ooooo we used to wait Still moving through the pain We used to wait for it Now we're screaming Sing the chorus again I used to wait for it Hear my voice screaming Sing the chorus again Wait for it Episodes 01 - Blast Off into Space 02 - Wild Adventure 03 - The Ghost Planet 04 - Forbidden World 05 - Space Circus 06 - The Prisoners of Space 07 - The Android Machine 08 - The Deadly Games of Gamma 6 09 - The Thief from Outer Space 10 - Curse of Cousin Smith 11 - West of Mars 12 - A Visit to Hades 13 - Wreck of the Robot 14 - The Dream Monster 15 - The Golden Man 16 - The Girl From the Green Dimension 17 - The Questing Beast 18 - Toy Maker 19 - Mutiny In Space 20 - The Space Viking 21 - Rocket to Earth 22 - The Cave of the Wizards 23 - Treasures of the Lost Planet 24 - Revolt of the Androids 25 - The Colonists 26 - Trip Through the Robot 27 - The Phantom Family 28 - The Mechanical Men 29 - The Astral Traveler 30 - The Galaxy Gift

Is there any way you can post a clip of Thor when he is yelling "ya ho ta ho?" I know this sounds crazy, but my husband and his siblings were trying to figure out where they had heard that before and my husband saw this episode on TV last night. I wanted to post that clip to FB so his siblings can see it. LOL

Thank you for your reply but I'm afraid I should have made myself clear. I know that they were on a different planet for seasons 1 and 2. What I meant was that I wished they hadn't confined themselves to stay "grounded" for each seasons worth of episodes. I would have liked them to move around like they did in season 3. I would have liked them to travel to the aliens instead of vice versa. I loved the ship and liked to see it fly...

Preaching to the choir, brother. :-)

Well, actually, they didn't. The first planet they landed on (called "Priplannus" @ LIS Wiki) was blown up by Strother Martin (as Mr. Nerim, an anagram of "miner"), in Episode 2.2. It was a few episodes later that they landed on planet Gamma Six (referred to as such in the episode entitled "Games of Gamma Six")..

I have slide shows of all three seasons on YouTube but the song I chose for each caused them to be banned in certain countries. I may re-do this with music that won't get them banned.

I agree with you that season 1 was the best and wish they had stayed with the more serious adventures, I know they had to soften Dr. Smith to allow him to stay on the show, but they went too far in 'softening' him up. Blame Harris, Allen, and the Batman TV series for 'camping' up the show. Also I got tired of them staying on the same planet for each two seasons. Season was good that the ship traveled more. Seasons 2 and 3 had some good episodes but not as good as Season 1. I am an LIS fan.

Fantástico e ainda por cima á cores, muitos eu assistir em preto e branco!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree. Seasons 1 and 2 were the high-point of the show, for me. I especially loved "Space Circus" (for Melinda Fee's great legs)!

That's hilarious! Season 3 is way too campy. Even as a kid I knew it had changed from the black and white episodes to be less serious. I'm recording Lost in Space and I can't watch these Season 3 episodes for the most part. About a year ago I rented all 3 seasons from NetFlix so I can say that I've seen every episode. I took screen captures while I watched each episode. The videos I have for the 3 seasons only show half the screen captures. I'm watching Babylon 5 now with Bill Mumy.

My wife and I just saw "The Phantom Family" episode a few days ago, and we had a good laugh at the scene shown at 2:26. A few seconds before the screen capture you show, Bill Mumy knocked on the cryo-tube containing Angela Cartwright, and said, (knock knock) "Penny? (knock knock) Penny?" Though not funny when we first saw this episode on TV in the 1960's, it became funny after watching "The Big Bang Theory." Now, if only Will Robinson will say, "Bazinga!" Thanks for posting this.
