Roger is back for a final adventure, and any advancements he might have made before are swiftly undone by the Starcon brass. The game music for this Let's Play was recorded using a genuine Roland Sound Canvas SC-88.

Yes, this game was very difficult compared to SQ5. I actually got stuck and abandoned it for awhile. I didn't realize it had to do with development issues.

Kielbasa in polish means sausage :D
-
The graphics style in this is similar to King's Quest 7 and the cut-scenes in Outlaws.
-
I love this game for the SVGA graphics.
-
I can only imagine what this (and many other) game(s) would have been like had Sierra not been falling apart at this point. Or had treated people a bit better in their heyday. Space Quest III even had little hints to the problems hitting Sierra and how they treated employees.
-
The only track of this game that I can remember is that sexy is the main theme
-
The way the game writers just kind of hit the reset button of Wilco's character arc in the opening moments of SQ6--disappointing fans of Space Quest 5 everywhere--is sort of reminiscent of what they did for Alien 3 (wiping out the entire cast of Aliens), or even Ghostbusters 2 (having the busters publically vilified again, just so there could be another "getting famous" plot retread).

I woulda done it to where he couldn't handle the responsibility as a captain, and just went back to being a janitor, but still with his heroic standing.
-
It's my favorite.
-
If it wasn't for this court martial, it would make a lot of sense for lack of Space Quest 5's content, and Space Quest 5 could be AFTER this game instead. Because hey, how long did it take for Roger to reach Cadet status? And I'm not counting that crappy SQ 4.5 game as canon.

I don't think you have a lawyer if you have already been judged guilty or innocent (in this case guilty) a lawyer is there to defend you before that decision in made. as for some of those being wrong Roger is guilty of abandoning post YES, deviating from mission YES, misuse of property YES, disintegrating an officer YES (though that officer was a mutant), no idea about sequel, consorting with female YES, SCS Eureka was blown up so yeah that was cocked up, but the goliath's crew was rescued as was the ambassador and the SCS Goliath itself...so they made one error

The villain is Valanice (Carol Bach y Rita) and the loop for the planet is (I'm pretty sure) from the graveyards and tomb in Ooga Booga! I've played KQ7 waaaaay too much. :)

It's also on Steam.
-
You can also get the Space Quest series on Steam as well! It has the VGA of Episode 1, but all the episodes work well through that.
-
Wow, the animation shift in this game is amazing, it almost seems like an actual cartoon! Or at least like Carmen Sandiego,
-
My version works fine on DOSBox. You can always get it from gog.com (in a bundle with SQ4 and 5 for $5), then you'll get an installer that will configure DOSBox for you so it should work without issues.
-
Hi how did you get this to work? Because I can't get it to work on windows 7, and I can't get it on dosbox because the only version I can get is the French one?
-
I understand that the makers of SQ didn't want Roger to be successful, but they should've kept some of the characters of SQ 5 around.
-
Hmmm, you know I still really like the 'evil' music in 6, even if 5 had a stronger soundtrack.
-
Would have been understandable if he'd been demoted for something like letting the space monkeys loose in the space bar or something.
