I used to love 92 theme... others didn't know existed and do not care.

I never really liked how, in SP2 and Ice Planet 2002, the lower half of the cockpit was a single piece. Same with Aquasharks. So that's a point for the Mission Commander: great detail in the cockpit.
Plus the MMUs under those canopies add a lot of playability.
If only the middle section had had that "crime lab" (6:20) instead of just the gear mechanism, it would've been perfect.
Oh, and a couple more minifigs: after all, there are two cells and two pods, plus the land vehicle: that sounds like a five-men job, not three ;) . -
I am with you I am the biggest fan of the 1992 version. The oldest version was alot more intricate than I thought so I am impressed. The newest one is my least favorite...but not as bad as I thought.

I gotta say that the color scheme and futuristic feel of the SP3 ship are better than the other two, but the SP2 one is probably my favorite just from looking at pictures/videos.(I don't own any of them)
-
Just curious, could you show/make a video that combines all three? I would find it interesting to see what you come up with.

I would love to see one of these for the deep freeze defender
-
i miss the old LEGO

My favorite is the newest one, I think it have the most play abilities and inner space, and it have more pieces and figures

1989 space police set rules - it has best color scheme and features. Besides its the set of my childhood. And comparing to 2009 set - it actually uses basic parts to make the whole shape, while the 2009 set has simplified parts that replace many basic ones e.g. the canopies for prisoners consist of one part, while the 1989 has few semitransparent bars.

The first one I got was the Gakactic Inforcer (just called that, nothing eles) and I loved it. I've seen the other two In other reviews or stop motion shorts, but I never thought they were connected so similarly. I agree, I like the 1992 one better. I like the vehicle that comes out the best

I like to by and build a set, mess around with it and when I am done ill rip it apart and make something from my imagination. but to answer you question witch one do I prefer, look wise I like the first version, play wise I must disagree with you. as I said, in time I will take apart a set and make something new. and the more I have in a set, the more I can build. thus the more I can create. the latest version has the most in all. also I like the way the prisoner pods look. the pod like structure jest pops to me. but I do also like the middle version. but I have to go with the size of a set and the latest one has that quality.

I like the 1989s colour scheme most

I like the oldest most and the newest least. I don't like how you have to take off the cockpit windows on the newest one instead of flipping them open. That set does have a lot of versatility though and a cool design, although it doesn't beat the sleek design of the original. I agree that the middle set looks the most functional and its color scheme is still pretty nice. The last one reminds me of a color scheme from before 1989 with the satellite launching station.

I have the 1989 and 1992 sets. My favorite is the 1992 set because it has a really strong build. The grey and green is a great space theme like old space sets. The internal compartments on the 1992 set allow enough room to add more computers and weapons.
