Aaaaaaah!!! The nostalgia!!!!! Aaaaaaah!!!!

Soo... you don't like negative comments but then you talk negative about the set!
-
As far as i remember you can connect the front with the back section and it looks realy well. Had this Set when i was a child.

hi!
-
Christmas 1992... my heart.
-
FYI...The mini rocket on top of the rover is the wrong color. It should be the light grey, not white. I have this set built, sitting in front of me currently.
-
The Normandy of the Lego universe.
-
My dad's frend gave me some Lego it must have been this set and the rest of the series.
-
what if you attached the front to the back
-
in germany it was called "Space Police Commander Corvette". i was gifted this christmas 1992 and in my memories it was the second best LEGO that i possesed.
if splitted and put section 1+3 together it remind using that as a "fighter" ( although it had the cells for prisoners ( poor guys ^^ )) and if section 1+2+3 were together i used it as some kind of "behind the enemy lines coordination ship".
i'm 33 now and it's nice to have some visuals again of the good old LEGO times (o:

Why didn't you connect the front piece with the rear piece?????
-
Not sure if this was covered in an earlier comment but when separated the middle section dubs as a ground base while the front connects the the end to create a smaller spaceship. This is how I played with it as a kid and I always assumed this was the intention of the designer.
-
One more bit you but wrong... The first logo plate is not supposed to be a "lock" for the 1st and 2nd sections. It is to lock the top canopy piece to the 1x4 together so it doesn't pop off easily when opening it.

my hand are just itching to throw a whole bunch of black and grey bricks at it an rework the whole thing... =]

This color scheme would be more suitable for a mining faction, like the older Lego Space vehicles and meteor hunter ship set with droid. The black-blue with red window color scheme was really the best for the Space Police, including with 9V battery and lights. Loved that stuff back then. Same deal for Blacktron, the black yellow color scheme was the best one really. The revamps didn't look as good imo.

Space van, smily blacktron guy, dome pieces....oh man....this one was so funny! Loved this review!!
-
I had that one as a kid

This is one of my favorite Lego space sets (and one of my first). I remember playing with this when I was a kid, and I absolutely loved how visually pleasing it was—it just looks like a super cool space ship! Like someone mentioned in a previous comment, I liked to take out the middle section and use that as a 'recon base', and then I'd connect the front section to the back and go scouting for Blacktron baddies. So many hours of play! Thanks for posting this video!
