How long this Gemma Project with 5 neopixels will work with two CR2032 lithium batterys?
Im working with the same hardware but only 3 neopixels. but my yet testet 2450 3V Lithium batterys will light up the pixels only for a few minutes. can anyone help me or has tip for me? -

yes i've got to agree the gemma and one of the batteries are pretty redundant here. the pixels aren't even flashing on and off let alone using pwm rgb fades. regular led's could do this rather than ~$25 worth of electronics. the neopixel ring earrings are much better.

Just because we didn't animate the pixels doesn't mean you can't! I was thinking a gentle twinkle could be nice, to look like faraway stars. And we have plenty of GEMMA/Trinket +NeoPixel projects that use really sophisticated animations like the goggles, glasses, earrings...

I get that coding supposed to be simple and all but I hate to see the NeoPixels, Gemma and the like constantly used as dumb lights. It just looks ineffectual. A 5-pack of purple Lilypad leds hooked to the battery pack directly would be so much better for this project. And it would save like $15.
