If you’d like a demo-packed introduction to React, an open source JavaScript library popularized by Facebook, this course is for you. React allows developers to build reactive UI components that render HTML using a virtual DOM, which can simplify programming and improve performance. React components are typically written in a JavaScript extension language called JSX. Join expert Eric Greene, as he introduces the React programming model, demonstrates how to set up a basic React environment, and walks you through the creation of a simple application. Explore component properties, work with forms, and see how React differs from other JavaScript frameworks and libraries. Be sure to check out this course, part of an exciting new series from Wintellect and Microsoft. If you feel useful for you and for everyone, please share it! Source via: Channel9 - MVA

In my Chrome js Console this error shows: http://i.imgur.com/VKAWwSf.png
When I click on the third one down in the stack trace I see this: http://i.imgur.com/H4Tqinh.png
Line 53 is throwing the error: "1172 Uncaught Invariant Violation: createClass(...): Class specification must implement a `render` method."
Is this a config thing that is happening because of a faulty file in the download or in something I did in site.jsx??
Thanks!!! -
I have an issue though, at 24:43 you have made the first simple React Class and element....I typed out everything you have but mine will not render. Normal HTML shows up, but nothing in my JSX file.
my JSX looks like this: http://i.imgur.com/TfWyIA6.png Any thoughts on what it could be. I have done all the installs and configurations according to the video so far. -
Thanks for this tutorial, its the first time I am setting up an environment to develop in React!
