For my Astronomy class's final, we were given the following assignment: Write, present, display, act, sing, dance, or otherwise express what you consider to be the most important, relevant or interesting facts you've learned from this class. I chose to utilize my narrow knowledge of Windows Movie Maker and make a 5-ish minute video displaying the most important, relevant or interesting facts I've learned from the class. Every day I had Astronomy, I looked forward to discovering new information. Each day, we covered current events, "this day in history" events, defined words not commonly used in colloquial speech, and learned about everything. Literally, if you watch the video you'll understand why I say that no matter what we discussed in class, it was all astronomy-related. So to those who are fortunate enough to attend Lancaster High School in Lancaster, CA, I highly recommend that you take Astronomy. The class will open your eyes to both the world you live in and the universe that encompasses it. Everyday will be a new and exciting adventure. Please remember that the information provided in this video is not EVERYTHING we learned, but rather what I deemed as being the most suitable for the assignment. Also, I know I'm not good with Windows Movie Maker and I know that there are better software applications available but that's all I have so please refrain from criticizing my video's structure. Enjoy the video and if you have any questions about the information provided in the video or if you'd like clarification, please feel free to leave a comment or send me a personal message; I will try and respond as often as possible. Thank you!
