Building a Space Station Tutorial Part 1, showing you how to build the first module the core of the station, build something to get it into orbit and how to use sub-assemblies in the game to make your life easier by not having to build the same rocket over and over. This was requested by someone so what the hell lets do it. This tutorial is split into parts as it would be a really long video otherwise not sure how many parts but if you want me to put a particular module up there let me know in the comments or if you want to give me a link for a module you have built and I will plonk that on there. Just a tip if you want to have your station always viewing Kerbin. Turn on SAS and set it to stay pointed at Radial In (basically pointed at Kerbin). That's what I do for my scanning satellites, so it might work for a station.
Be careful of time warping, though. SAS only works outside of warp. If you have SAS on while coming out of warp, it might cause the station to tear itself apart from the sudden movement. -
Most informative KSP videos I've come across. Thank You!!!
-
So the remote thing you put on allows you to drive the thing back to Kerbin. How far can it go away from... What does it track?
