Kerbal Space Program - Interstellar Quest - Episode 59 - Science Spam!
About | Information | History | Online | Facts | Discovery
In response/as punishment for the occasional coments along the lines of 'are we there yet', 'i challenge you to get warp tech in 5 episodes' and 'this is taking too long'. I respond with a concentrated 20 minute episode of dedicated science gathering. And the unlocking of fusion technology, unfortunately in the next episode we'll be upgraded to 0.23.5 and some of my unlocked tech has been relocked.... Yes it's pretty dull, but hey, how about that re-entry at 6.25km/sec? (also, the eagle eyed will notice I edited the order of events to make it not be 20 minutes of flying around the mun, that would be really dull).

rest in ablator heatshield. hung on to the spacecraft as long as it could, but was ultimately destroyed by scott's evilness. mwahahaha

My reentry speed record using KSP DEMO is 7,8296km/s.

A pity mods do not interact with each other at all, that WasteHeat resource could have been put to good use to minimize the electric charge needed to heat the interior of the spacecraft. Oh, well!

Love your videos

I have MechJeb installed and it just screwed up a Mun mission while circularizing an orbit trying to land manually on the dark side now. Wish me luck!

its made of nokia phones! -
Personally, I like that you're doing everything on the various planets instead of grinding every possible unit of science that can be found in every biome of the planet/moon. I like the well paced progression to interstellar technology. I'm just hoping that the series doesn't end up with you ending it right at the point where you achieve interstellar flight. Sure, I could probably watch the final episode, since you finished this series, but I'm not a fan of spoiling major events in a series.
