My refueling ships (which bring the fuel to the station to begin with) always have extra docking clamps (I use radially-mounted nuclear engines, so I can put clamp-Sr.s on both top and bottom), so my stations often end up with one mile-long arm of nothing but giant fuel tanks, and when one empties I just de-orbit it. :D
-
This is giant compared to mine. My one and only orbit is an EXTREMELY elliptical orbit and it is really close to kerbin at closest.
-
reminds me of my monstrous stations in my earlier vids...
Having said that, with the landing of Atlantis 1 on the mun and ritz hotels on various bodies (not released in video yet) i seem to be getting better at deploying bigger space stations and bases.
All i can say is Zisteau, your video's have been seriously entertaining... we want more... their are plenty of planets for you to get science from... planets to colonise... -
Where has this series been? ;(
-
How to fix the fuel stick: put more reinforcement on the fuel stick like lots of launch towers on the actual stick itself, but since it can't reach because the booster is in the way, put some beams to extend it and put a decoupler on the end. I was having the same amounts of problems with my 200+ parts rockets.
-
Fun build!
-
use the docking tab then you can move laterally.
-
You know, at first I thought you were mocking the large decouple module for giggles. But hearing you carry on about it for so long.. I have to question your understanding of what an unfinished game is. Seriously..
-
if you're having problems, just add more engines
-
Z, you do realize that compression resistance scales quadratically and compression force scales cubically, right? I mean, it's the whole reason why you can't build giant mechas...
Also, if you need more than 2 orange tanks to go anywhere, you are doing something wrong.
Finally, if you look at the navball, the pink marker will tell you in which direction you need to translate. Kudos on the north-south approach, btw, makes things a lot easier and a lot of people ignore that option completely. -
my sub box has been quite boring an dead since you went on break. welcome back Z
-
just use separators, decouplers are worthless
-
Make pls more terraria let's plays ;)
-
You should use seperators instead of decouplers :3
-
pleasse make a rocket next episode, set the station as the target, and fly in to it :D
-
after a trip in Europa he needed to see some explosions :D great start!
-
dont give up on your Space Cube idea! thats awesome!
-
You should make a mini cube that you use as an attachment for rockets
-
By the looks of it Z, you are having issues with krakens.... Good luck with that, many a spacecraft of mine have fallen prey to them
