Karachi Astronomers Society with stars of DSRA Welfare School, Khi for Solar Astronomy - 12-05-2012

On that day.. a galaxy of around 75 students (grade VI onwards) with their teachers who were overwhelmingly participating in presentation by Zain, and the following solar astronomy session under suppervision of Zain & Abubaker, observed sun, sun spots etc thru Skywather telescope. This event covered, the fifth in the series, being part of Karachi Astronomers Society - KaAS's vision of promoting Astronomy, Astro Tourism, and Astro-Science in Pakistani Schools.. These are glimpses of the memorable event Solar ASTRONOMY Presentation & the followup Session on May 12, 2012 organised by KaAS for students of DSRA Welfare School, Ph I, DHA, Karachi being run by a charitable trust - DSRA Educational & Welfare Trust, since 2004, which is providing free high quality education to children low income group. The un-ending intelligent questions from the students were there to increase our faith in Pakistan's talent and potential.. all signs of our promising future in Astronomy & Space Sciences inshaAllah.. Last but not the least, we are grateful to the administration for anticipating the importance of this vital field of science; healthy activity it offers.. they well coordinated it in a time when exams were very near. The Co Chairman, principal and teachers there with their energetic sprits .. In a nutshell.. it was a memorable event for everybody; and one more succesful event is added to KaAS Account, alhamdolillah. KaAS reps:..
